Yes family, its been a while since we have been in touch with you cats. Since then, many great things have happened with the crew, children were born, new members have been added , gigs have taken place and nonetheless new projects and new music have emerged from that.

So sit tight and get ready for the news.

First lets us introduce you to our new project Afrologia.

Afrologia is a joint venture between Soulbreakxtra and Faray S.M. For those who already know, these cats when sit toghether magic happens instantly without you even realizing it.
Having said that, the project is entitled "Sem Formas" and is a mix of "afrobrokenhousehiphoplectrodub" textures.

Confused? hope not ahahahahahaha

The project includes colaborations with Keita Maianda (one of Angola´s great poets), as farinas (sista Mila, and Soulsista aka Kiara), Leonardo Wauti amongst other great talents.

The album release is due in 2008 and will be co-produced with sister label MARRON , so stay tuned.

However, the project has had some great feedback especially during december and early january when they performed live at the BLAST@LAST festival in Luanda.

Soulwatt introduces: Brother KEV

As a compulsive music collector since age 17, Brother Kev started djin' in 2000 Lisbon, at Clubs...the wave continued as he was gettin' major invites for downtempo Bars and Smalls Discos. So his dj set changed for 80's Disco, Funk, Oldschool Hiphop, Reggae/Ragga and some Pop music from the golden age.

In 2001 started makin' beats...and got the chances to work with mcees like Chullage, Kilu and for projects like Verbal's - "Viagem Verbal", also doin' some experimental work with Soulwatt acclaimed vocal Faray SM...his style of beats has a touch of soulful jazz driven,reminicent to the works of the late J. Dilla and Pete Rock.
He is currently affiliated with SOULWATT Productions and is workin' on his debut project "In.flow.encias" is due to Dec.'06...with guest appearences by: MC K, Grande L, Faray SM, Verbal, Kool Kleva and production colaborations from brother Soulbreakxtra.

Summer Madness @ Lisbon

It has happened last saturday in Lisbon . Nicknamed Summer Madness, the event was promoted and organised by the well established and respected dj Jonhny and co. The event was an opportunity to consolidate quality music lovers into one roof. The line up included well established djs, musicians, Mc´s and Vj´s from the Lisbon crew.

The show started at 18 pm and lasted until 6 am of the next day. Certainly for those who have been there, it was a great gig. Soulwatt productions greatly apreciates our Lisbon brothers for including our representative, brother Faray sem mobile in the line up. Much respect.

Nevertheless, we here must say that we are still waiting for you cats to come over to do a join gig here in Luanda. (Hey jonhny boy Im still waiting.....)

Soulwatt presents the Queen "SOULSISTA"

Soulwatt Productions proudly presents our Queen and only female member Soulsista.

Been a member and co-founder of the crew , Soulsista A.k.a "Kiara" has contributed massively to the grow of the team. She has written and co-written songs for Faray sem mobile, Soulbreakxtra and Kilates.

She is a poetess and has been involved in the arts scène since the 90´s. She has been involved in a Manchester project called Foreign Perception which was stricly dedicated to different art forms. She has also collaborated with Manchester producer and Dj Mr Scruff on a single.

Her power of observation combined with her writting skills creates an image that reaches everyone soul, sprit and mind.

Keep tuned to ear the Sista in action.

Magix has been a member of the crew since its foundation and has contributed with some background vocals and some sax solos and arrangements on Soulwatt "momentos de evolução EP". He has also been envolved with projects by Faray sem mobile and Soulbreakxtra.

Soulwatt crew proudly introduces Kilates to you all. Kilates is a member of the "Silaba e Kilates" duo since 99 and is the new member of the Soulwatt crew. He is a poet, writter with amasing skills that will certainly impress you all. Kilates poems focus on social and political conditions of the less fortunated. Based in Manchester Uk, Kilates has produced and written his first EP, and you will have an opportunity to have a tast of it.
He has also colaborated with Soulbreakxtra on a couple tunes.

Soulwatt introduces Faray sem Mobile

Musician, singer and Soulwatt co-funder Faray sem Mobile is set to break new barriers. After the productions of his well aclaimed EP "a minha força naõ é para magoar", Faray has contributed in producing a few songs for the Lisbon band 1wik project second album. Faray sem Mobile is also producing new material for his new Album which has no title yet.

Soulwatt artist and co-funder Soulbreakxtra is set to launch the new EP entitled Breakologia.
The album includes colaborations with angolan poets and artists like Soulsista, Faray sem Mobile, Kilates and others. The EP is a mix of soul, jazz and brokenbeat textures combined with electronic urban sounds ready to color your dark days.
